Twelfth Night Productions, “Company” by Sondheim.  Winter 2016 Production.

This musical is often presented as a period piece set in the 1970′s.  However, my director was going to set it in present day.  So my backdrop was designed to evoke some classic mid-century modern lines, without being too obvious.  Also, the squares are windows of Bobby’s NY apartment.  The orchestra is situated behind the backdrop.
